How to measure for your Roman blind
First you need to decide where your blind is going
to be fitted, either inside or outside the window recess:
A) Measuring inside the recess
The neatest way to hang your custom made blind is inside the window recess. Measure the width and drop in at least two places and use the smallest measurement
B) Measuring outside the recess
This
is the easiest way to fit your new blind if curtains will not be used on the window.
Measure the width and drop according to where
you want the blind to sit. The norm is approximately 3" above the window and 1" below the sill, and about 2" over each side
ADVICE ON PURCHASING METAL CHAIN
· The kit comes as standard with ‘White Chain – 300cm
long, which will give you a maximum drop of 150cm chain from the head rail
· e.g. If you require 1 meter drop of Chrome chain,
then you need to purchase 2 metre chain

Clear Rings - Made with super strong 13mm polycarbonate. Almost invisible on the back of blinds (Austrian, Roman,
London, Festoon) use the rings in preference to blind tapes which can only be attached to the fabric by rows of vertical stitching
that will detract from the natural fall of good materials.
The rings will allow blinds to fold naturally and do not give resistance to the pulling up and lowering of the fabric.
